We seek a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting individuals through their mental health challenges in an outpatient setting, providing therapy services to a diverse population of clients.
As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat clients with a variety of mental health conditions. If you are committed to making a positive impact in your community and helping others navigate their mental health journeys, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions in an outpatient setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and ongoing evaluations of clients.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to provide holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records by HIPAA guidelines.
- Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensed in New Jersey as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or other relevant license.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a mental health setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain a non-judgmental, empathetic approach.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with telehealth or virtual therapy services.
- Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
