Job Summary:
Human-I-T is seeking a strategic and discerning Philanthropy Associate to aid in our efforts in expanding and deepening relationships with donors and partners across multiple industries and sectors. This role is pivotal in driving our mission to shrink the digital divide and promote environmental sustainability through strategic philanthropy. The Philanthropy Associate will execute fundraising initiatives to secure financial support for our digital equity programs and mission-driven ITAD operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Donor Engagement and Relationship Building:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders, including government entities, technology companies, financial institutions, and grant-making organizations.
- Engage strategic partners to advance initiatives focused on digital inclusion and sustainability, managing a robust 'book of business' and actively supervising pipeline activity.
- Fundraising and Revenue Growth:
- Drive revenue growth through innovative fundraising strategies, including donor acquisition, corporate partnerships, grant funding, and monetary gifts.
- Identify and understand market trends and events that can influence potential partnerships and donor behavior, leveraging this insight to tailor outreach and engagement strategies.
- Advocacy and Market Engagement:
- Represent Human-I-T at industry events, conferences, and advocacy efforts, promoting topics like digital equity, the circular economy, and e-waste policies.
- Develop and execute marketing, public relations, and communications campaigns to raise awareness and support for the organization's mission.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Create and present detailed reports on philanthropic activities, account statuses, and the progress of the department toward established goals.
- Regularly communicate these insights to senior leaders, sometimes including the CEO and Board of Directors, to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in philanthropy or related roles, with a successful track record in fundraising and donor relations.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution within the nonprofit sector.
- Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in using CRM systems to manage donor information and track fundraising progress.
- Deep understanding of the ITAD industry and the specific challenges and opportunities within the nonprofit fundraising landscape.
Salary : $59,000 - $89,000
