Title: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient
Job Type: Full-time Monday - Friday (We also have Flexible scheduling, Part time and PRN hours available as well! Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluation of client’s daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations
- Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise Instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic program
- Observe patients during treatments and reports observations to Physical Therapist
- Communicate with staff and other health team members, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs
Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, licensed or eligible and willing to get licensure in Georgia
- New Graduates encouraged to apply, prefer one or more years of licensed outpatient orthopedic experience
- Manual therapy/lymphatic massage skills preferred with desire to grow
- Desire to be a part of team that emphasizes a service-based culture of excellence and life-long learning
