GENERAL FUNCTION
The primary function of this position is to provide excellent member services and provide leadership and guidance to Member Services Rep. I and II employees.
KNOW HOW
A high school diploma, or its equivalent, is preferred, basic member service skills and minimum 3-4 years customer service experience is required.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Computer proficiency using standard word processing and data entry skills.
Ability to learn, process and use YMCA software programs.
Math and calculator proficiency.
Know and understand how to use the telephone system and voice mail.
Filing and basic office procedures.
Must be capable of establishing and maintaining positive relationships with staff, parents, program participants, and with the general public.
Must be able to work as a team member and possess the core values that meet the YMCA mission.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information on children, family and YMCA staff.
Maintain current certifications in First Aid, Safety & Risk Management, Child Abuse Prevention and New Employee Orientation, and other department/Branch designated training, or the ability to obtain within 60-90 days of employment.
