GENERAL FUNCTION
Under the direction and supervision of the Program Director, the Program Instructor II will be primarily responsible for providing quality leadership and supervision, in classes, while maintaining a safe, non-competitive environment for YMCA members.
KNOW HOW
Ø A high school diploma or its equivalent and experience leading/facilitating classes and working with special populations is required.
Ø A minimum of 18 years of age.
Ø Knowledge of basic health and wellness principles and exercises, as well as healthy living behaviors is preferred.
Ø Verbally provide clear concise directions and visually inspect classroom for safety
Ø Maintain current certifications in CPR AED, First Aid, Safety & Risk Management, Child Abuse Prevention and New Employee Orientation or the ability to obtain within 60-90 days of employment.
Salary : $10 - $12
