PLC Electrical Technician Lead
Summary : This position will work independently and with other plant personnel to plan and complete projects, create work instructions for Preventative and Reactive Maintenance, Assist Plant Maintenance Technicians as necessary in the repair of machinery, create training opportunities in the department, and maintain and update machine documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Modify or write PLC programs to support equipment upgrades or modifications.
- Maintain and update PLC / Drive program library.
- Maintain and update electrical drawing library.
- Participate in Safety, 5s, Continuous Improvement, Production and Maintenance initiatives.
- Provide training to maintenance personnel on PLC, AC / DC drives and control equipment.
- Willing to help and support other planet multi-craft personnel in their daily duties as needed.
- Work closely with the Plant Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and Maintenance Technicians to schedule resources for assignments.
- Create implementation plans for Projects, track progress, and review results.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
