Executive Director Position - Human Resources Center of Edgar and Clark Counties
The Board of Directors of the Human Resources Center of Edgar and Clark Counties (HRC) is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as our next Executive Director. This exceptional opportunity begins July 1, 2025.

The Human Resources Center of Edgar and Clark Counties is dedicated to serving our communities through comprehensive human services programs. As our Executive Director, you will lead a dedicated team of professionals while working directly with our Board of Directors to advance our organizational mission and vision.
Position Overview
The Executive Director serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Authorized Representative of HRC, providing strategic leadership in program development, revenue generation, budget management, quality assurance, compliance, and staff development. This role directly supervises key leadership positions including Directors of Operations, Information Technology, Finance, and Human Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-range organizational strategy
- Provide leadership in program and financial planning
- Oversee all personnel matters and maintain sound HR practices
- Foster a positive, inclusive work environment
- Manage relationships with community stakeholders and partners
- Ensure regulatory compliance and financial stability
- Lead fundraising and donor relations initiatives
- Direct strategic planning and implementation
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or equivalent life experience
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience
- Minimum 5 years of administrative responsibilities
- Specialized training in Management, Administration, Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and/or Substance Abuse
- Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills
- Excellence in organizational and staff development
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building capabilities
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
- Physical ability to perform essential job functions
- Flexibility to work varied schedules as needed
- Must be able to work at all HRC locations including Marshall, Paris, and other sites as needed
- Regular driving between facilities is required
Compensation
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience; benefits package included.
