About the Job
This job is for a candidate who has completed a PhD or EdD degree in a relevant field and has relevant post-degree work experience. Work may include :
- Develop logic models and theories of action
- Design research and evaluation studies, including randomized control trial (RCT) and quasi-experimental (QED) studies
- Develop sampling plans and conduct power analyses for various research study designs
- Direct moderate- to large-scale research and evaluation projects, including managing the work of junior staff and complying with quality, timeliness, and budgetary requirements
- Design and develop protocols and instruments to collect qualitative and quantitative data
- Collect data using qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., focus groups, surveys, tests, extant databases, alignment workshops)
- Write syntax and use a variety of tools to code and analyze qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., MAXQDA, Excel, SAS, R)
- Plan and conduct regression analyses, factor analyses, and hierarchical linear modeling
- Write technical reports and orally present findings to internal staff and clients
- Lead the development of proposals to secure new contracts
- Mentor and develop junior staff
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, managers, and clients
This is an on-site position at a HumRRO office (Alexandria, VA; Louisville, KY; Monterey, CA; San Diego, CA; or Minneapolis, MN), with a hybrid telework option.
Requirements and Qualifications
The typical salary for this role is $58,000 to $111,000. Specific salary offers are based on candidate qualifications and experience.
