Research Scientist (Quantitative I/O) for Human Resources Research Organization to work at our Alexandria, VA loc. May telecommute up to two days per week.
Develop research and quality control plans related to employee assessment and organizational research topics; develop survey, employment testing, assessment training, and organizational research related data collection materials. Direct projects related to employee assessment and organizational research topics, creating databases, performing statistical analysis including regression, data modelling, factor analysis, item response theory, and other psychometric analyses and interpret the results. Write reports and present project findings. Assist in proposal writing to secure new contracts.
Little national travel to client locations may be involved.
Must have Ph.D. (ABD) in a rel social sciences field, 6 months of rel exp with advanced research analysis and data modeling, and skill in (6 months exp): working with operational assessment or educational data, and using statistical software. Alternatively, applicants may have a Masters in a rel social sciences field, 2 yrs of rel exp with advanced research analysis and data modeling, and skill in (6 mos exp): working with operational assessment or educational data, and using statistical software. Experience and skills may be earned concurrently with education.
Any suitable combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.
