HB Service Attendant
Primary Responsibilities: Perform any combination of the following duties to facilitate food service; carry dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen; replace soiled table linen and set tables with silverware, glassware, and china. Clean and polish equipment, such as coffee urns, cream and mil dispensers. Assist waithelp in setting of tables and servicing guests. Clean and is responsible for the cleanliness of the dining room area. Detail of work may vary from one dining room to another. May transfer food and dishes between floors/rooms of establishment.
Essential Duties:
Welcome and greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, personalizing the service.
Pour water, coffee, tea, etc., assist waithelp in servicing guests.
Remove soiled linen, dishes, silverware, glassware from tables and transport to kitchen.
Refill beverages.
Replace soiled table linen and reset tables for service.
Pick-up food from kitchen and assist in serving guests.
Clean and polish equipment.
Perform side duties before service and after restaurant service.
Consistently perform tasks as specified on sequence of service standards and SOPs.
Keep supplies stocked in his/her station.
Recognize and appropriately respond to irate patrons; contact manager on potential problems.
Able to answer questions regarding the menu and beverages served in the restaurant.
Pick-up and stock linen and other supplies
Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
Other Duties:
Keep work area and dining room clean and orderly; pick up rubbish, wipe up spills, etc.
May input food and beverage orders in the POS system.
Recommend the resort’s restaurants and facilities to guests
Working Conditions:
Indoors in a specific restaurant(s).
Outdoor venues in all types of weather.
Work Hours:
Able to work shift and days determined by the restaurant manager
Able to work more than 40 hours per week when needed
Equipment Use:
Coffee makers, toasters, espresso machine
Carts or wagons to transport china, glassware, silverwares, linen, etc.
Resort’s POS system
Mental and Physical Demands:
Able to stand, walk, bend and reach during most of shift.
Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Push and pull up to and over 50 lbs
Able manage stressful and challenging situations when dealing with guests
Communication Demands:
Able to communicate verbally to employees, managers and guests.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Department of Health TB clearance
Read and write to perform job duties
Must be pleasant, friendly and smiling
Salary : $15 - $18
