Human Support Services is seeking to add a full-time Counselor to our premier team of mental health professionals to provide mental health treatment in Monroe County, IL.
We are pleased to announce our new increased starting wage $22.23-$28.44 an hour. We are currently offering a sign on bonus of $1,000. Full-time bonus will consist of $500 after 30 days of employment in good standing and an additional $500 after 6 months of employment in good standing.

Job Duties:
•Assessment of mental health conditions.
•Treatment plan development.
•Provide therapeutic services for adults, children, and families.
•Case Management
•Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions to address clinical needs.
•Advocacy, referral and linkage to recommended community resources.
•Complete required data entry and paperwork in accordance with program and agency policies and procedures, including but not limited to opening requirements, assessments, treatment/recovery plans, progress notes, treatment authorizations and authorization of medical necessity.
*One evening per week required.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.)
- Minimum of one year relevant job experience in counseling/case management.
- LCPC or LCSW
- Experience working with children preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with the substance use population preferred, but not required.
- Must be willing to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable for auto coverage.
