Human Support Services, a non-profit community mental health agency located in Monroe County, seeks full-time Mental Health Professionals (MHP) and Rehabilitative Services Associates (RSA).
We are pleased to announce our new increased starting wage $16.50-$21.68 an hour. We are currently offering a full-time sign on bonus of $1000. After 30 days of employment in good standing employee will receive half of the bonus and after 6 months of employment receive the other half.

Duties:
We are looking for dependable staff to teach daily living skill to adults with Mental Illness in their homes and communities. Successful applicants must be able to:
- Empower and support individuals to live self-directed lives
- Teach independent living skills including but not limited to, cooking, cleaning, hygiene and emergency readiness
- Promote Health and Wellness, including passing medication
- Support individuals in building and maintaining healthy friendships and relationships
- Teach coping skills and provide support to individuals in crisis
- Help individuals gain access to community resources and participate in community events
- Maintain accurate, concise, current clinical documentation as required by state and federal guidelines
- Perform medication monitoring practices (MHP only, not RSA)

Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Have five years experience in this field or a BA degree (MHP required, not required for RSA)
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive a van or willing to be trained
- Willing to drive in St Louis and the Metro East
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds and walk flights of stairs
- Present High School diploma or GED
- Constitution to handle body excrements
- Must be emotionally stable enough to react appropriately to a individual in crisis
Salary : $17 - $22
