Key Responsibilities:
As a Production Associate, you will operate equipment to produce quality automotive parts while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction, employee success, and company growth.
- Loading and unloading individual automotive stampings from production lines/cells
- Operating manual and robotic systems to apply welds, adhesive, and other assembly processes
- Inspecting and properly loading finished parts into containers for storage and shipment
- Tagging, labeling, and tracking parts while producing required documentation
- Assisting with equipment adjustments and changeovers
- Following work instructions to maintain QS9000 quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Working independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; 1 years of manufacturing or assembly experience is required
- Physical Requirements: Must stand, walk, and lift 25-35 lbs for extended periods (8-10 hours per shift)
- Skillset: Ability to read work instructions, perform basic math, and apply reasoning skills in a fast-paced environment
- Schedule: Must be available for 2nd or 3rd shift, overtime, and weekends as needed
- Bonus: Forklift license preferred but not required
