Description
As a Senior Research & Implementation Associate, you will be involved throughout all phases of the various client engagements acting as an assistant project manager including project logistics at the pre-field stage, data collection, and sample management at the field stage and playing an integral role in storytelling and preparing reports in the post-field stage. In this role, you will be involved in engagements across a variety of industries and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project logistics (e.g., gather costs for proposals, conduct facility searches, coordinate all facility interactions, etc.).
- Guide questionnaire writing & Test online surveys.
- Lead in sample management (e.g., monitoring recruits for clinics, qualitative, and online studies).
- Prepare and organize study participant materials (e.g., name lists, invitations, mail-outs, mass e-mailings, etc.).
- Lead in coordination for off-site engagements (e.g., clinics, focus groups, workshops, etc.) ,
- Conduct and prepare secondary research to aid in proposals, reports, and other client deliverables.
- Observe focus groups and take detailed notes to help determine key qualitative themes to discuss during debrief and storytelling sessions.
- Handle respondents’ questions/concerns (e.g., over the phone, on-site, e-mail, etc.).
- Conduct in-person interviewing (e.g., at a clinic or as intercept interviews).
- Take lead in ensuring data quality in the post-field stage of a project.
- Proofread proposals, reports, and presentations in terms of grammar and formatting.
- Actively participate in storytelling sessions to assist in developing the story utilizing consumer-driven insights to address the client’s business challenges and objectives.
- Design format and layout of reports (e.g., color scheme, formatting, etc.).
- Prepare charts and graphs for reports (e.g., create chart templates, enter and check data in the charts, etc.) and summarize key consumer verbatims to include in reports.
- Participate in internal training activities.
- Support internal initiatives (i.e., participate in various committees).
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Psychology, General Business, Statistics, Economics, Communications, Anthropology, or related field preferred
- Experience from an internship, research study, or teaching assistant program related to marketing or research.
- Embody company culture including taking ownership of work and having a go-getting mentality.
- Demonstrate professional maturity and general business knowledge including strong problem-solving skills, time management, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- SPSS knowledge preferred – to be developed over time for quantitative-oriented individuals.
