Humana Military is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to review Behavioral Health conditions of our service members as a part of the disability processing in the Medical Evaluation Board ("MEB") at Fort Eisenhower Army Base located in Augusta, GA.

Qualified candidates shall hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an approved Clinical Psychology internship. In addition, candidates shall have:
- a current, unrestricted license to practice Clinical Psychology in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands that allows for the independent practice of clinical services
- a minimum of two (2) years’ experience within the past three (3) years in the practice of clinical psychology with sufficient experience to be able to diagnose and treat conditions which may include but are not limited to: General mental health disorders/DSM Diagnosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, Post-traumatic stress disorder & Adult Psychology.
- Prior experience treating service members and/or practice in a military treatment facility or a VA is a plus.
- Current BCLS certification through the American Heart Association
- U.S. citizenship is a government-mandated requirement.

Responsibilities
The Clinical Psychologist will conduct scheduled soldier interviews via telephone and review all medical records to update the behavioral health status of service members since they were placed on Temporary Disability Retirement List (“TDRL”). In-person soldier interviews will be rare, averaging as few as 1/year. Approximately 4 TDRLs are to be completed each week, or 16-18/month.
Additionally, a more intensive review of the current behavioral health status of service members placed on Legacy Disability will be conducted and reported in the form of a Legacy Disability Evaluation (“LDES”). Approximately 2 LDES are to be completed per month.
Finally, the Clinical Psychologist will review the Behavioral Health components of the Narrative Summaries (“NARSUMs”) written by the General Medicine Physicians as part of the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (“IDES”) to validate the findings. The mission of the IDES is to identify any readiness or deployment limiting conditions and to document medical and mental health conditions not meeting Army retention standards. Approximately 13-18 NARSUMS will be reviewed each week.
