The records are reviewed by Humana's Coding staff.Travel up to 50% of the time. Assigned area is Ventura County and surrounding areas as well as driving to locations that require overnight travel .Use a laptop computer and a portable scanner to retrieve medical records which will be uploaded into a databaseSchedule appointments and visits to physician offices in a timely, efficient manner to meet all deadlinesUse your skills to make an impactRequired QualificationsCandidates must reside within Ventura County, California1 years of experience with Medical Records or Electronic Medical RecordsMust have reliable transportationAbility to travel locally up to 50% of the time (Ventura County and surrounding areas)Ability to travel overnight occasionallyThis role is part of Humana's driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and are expected to maintain personal vehicle liability insurance.
