As the Financial Controller, you will oversee the financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective financial management. You will play a critical role in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, developing financial forecasts and tracking performance against budgets to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during annual audits, ensuring all compliance requirements are met and resolving any issues that arise.
- Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring collections and payments to optimize working capital.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement; present findings and actionable recommendations to the CEO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and legal compliance issues.
- Proficient in accounting software and financial tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle); advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
