Summary
We are seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our shelter facilities in Harford County. This role is vital in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our animals and visitors. The Facilities Manager will play a key role in supporting our mission by maintaining our facilities to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Clean all areas, including animal care facilities, offices, and public spaces.
- Manage all aspects of facility maintenance, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Perform all duties on the preventive maintenance program to ensure optimal facility operations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards within the facility.
- Collaborate with other departments to support the overall mission of HSHC.
Requirements
- Experience in cleaning a large building to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising staff.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
