The Humane Society of Missouri is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping animals. Our Customer Service Specialist interacts with the public both in-person and by phone to conduct animal intake/receiving, processing, and adoption of animals. Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning reception area,
- Completing and filing paperwork,
- Operating Adoption Center computer system, and
- Providing essential care to animals received.
This is a full-time, entry-level position, which will include weekend hours. Starting pay is $16/hour. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 3 months of customer service and animal handling experience is preferred.
