As the Manager of Corporate and Community Engagement at HSMO, you'll collaborate with key leaders including the President, Director of Marketing and Communications and Director of Special Events. Together, you'll drive the identification and fulfillment of corporate sponsorships for events, programs, and initiatives. Your focus will be on nurturing existing relationships with companies and fostering new partnerships. Compensation will be a mix of base and incentive.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Research and identify potential corporate sponsors and community partners whose values align with those of our organization.
- Become familiar with and maintain strong relationships with an existing portfolio of HSMO event sponsors and partners
- Develop and maintain a database of prospects, including contact information, past interactions, and potential opportunities for collaboration.
- Initiate contact and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers through cold calls, emails, and networking events to present sponsorship opportunities and discuss potential partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for engagement with corporate and community partners that support our adoption services, educational programs and Longmeadow Rescue Ranch.
- Customize sponsorship proposals and presentations to align with the interests and objectives of each prospective partner.
- Coordinate meetings, presentations, and follow-up communications with potential sponsors to nurture relationships and secure commitments.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, communications, and program staff to ensure alignment and fulfillment of sponsor expectations.
- Track and report on outreach activities, sponsorship revenue, and other key performance metrics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least 5 years of experience and proven success in sales and marketing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint and Google Workspace.

- Animal Handling: Willingness to handle and transport shelter animals to and from events.
