What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Coordinator position at Humane Society of Tampa Bay Inc?
- Keeps track of lost/found animals with chips or ID.
- Handles stray emails during operating hours.
- Work patiently with distressed, frustrated or disgruntled clients.
- Answering calls and returning calls
- Handling return-to-owner processes with Vet Tech and ensuring proper paperwork is completed.
- Manages office needs (supply requests, building repairs, etc.)
- Helps with daily needs like laundry, dishes, cleaning as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Must display and provide excellent Customer Service.
- Works directly under the supervision of the Intake Manager.
- Cross-trained in procedures for exam room and may be utilized when staff shortages occur.
- Other duties assigned by management.
- MUST be able to lift 50 lbs
$16.00 an hour
This is a full-time non-exempt 40hrs a week schedule working weekends and the schedule will vary from 730am-4pm and 830am-5pm. We are not considering part-time for this position. Please no phone calls.

Required- High School or better
