What are the responsibilities and job description for the Handyman - Wildlife Exclusion Specialist position at Humane Wildlife Control Solutions?
Louisville's largest wildlife control operator is looking for an exclusion specialist! This is an excellent position for someone who has carpentry, construction or handyman experience to make a substantial income.
Our Wildlife Exclusion Specialists are responsible for cleaning up damage and closing up wild animal entry points after our Wild Animal Removal Technician has ensured that the wild animal(s) have been completely removed from the structure.
You will be required to inspect the structure 360° to make sure each and every possible entry point is documented and quoted to the customer.
The work ranges from simple hole closures to complete home exclusion work sealing up the entire home to wildlife. You will spend the majority of your time on a roof or ladder so being comfortable with heights is REQUIRED.
Our Advanced Wildlife Control Operator will train you in the work but basic demonstrated handyman experience is REQUIRED to be successful in this position.
The ideal candidate has:
- Customer service skills, including dealing with sometimes difficult clients.
- Carpentry or home repair experience.
- Common Sense.
The ideal technician will be centrally located in the Louisville Metro area or able to reach Louisville within 30 minutes.
Compensation is a set rate per hour with commission.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $6,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Nights as needed
- On call
- Weekends as needed
