HumanEdge is looking to hire a PACU Registered Nurse to work in a hospital in suburban NY metro area. This is for the ambulatory surgery unit. Level 2 PACU Registered Nurse – 10 hour dayshift. No weekends or holidays. Both Local and Travel candidates are welcome to apply.
This is a ideal location with easy access to both the attractions of the NY area as well as the beautiful Hudson Valley region.

Role : Assessing the patient : checking vital signs, pain, the site of incision, temperature and respiration. Responsible for rousing a patient from anesthesia after the patient has been admitted into the PACU. Changing of dressings, turning a patient, breathing exercises and pain management.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2 years PACU experience
ICU experience a plus
NY RN license
BLS (AHA)
ACLS
Proof of right to work in the United States
English
