We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee various accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and analytical thinker with a solid understanding of accounting principles, as well as the ability to manage and mentor junior accounting staff. This is a contract role starting ASAP.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Oversee and manage the monthly and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, classified, and reconciled.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for senior management.
Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules.
Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures.
