Join us as the Senior Vice President of Philanthropic Strategy, where you will play a crucial role in steering our fundraising efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability of our mission. In this position, you will craft and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan aligned with HumanGood's strategic objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in diversifying our donor base, securing funding for innovative initiatives, and maintaining support for existing programs.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Leading the development of a long-term fundraising strategy that secures the Foundation's sustainability.
- Establishing performance metrics and collaborating with the Leadership Team and Board(s) to evaluate our fundraising effectiveness.
- Engaging Board(s) and the Foundation team in fund development initiatives while clearly delineating their roles.
- Building and executing a fundraising plan that supports our five-year strategic vision.
- Collaborating with the Leadership Team to optimize revenue opportunities and secure seed funding for innovative projects.
- Crafting a compelling message of impact to motivate partners to invest in our mission.
- Managing a portfolio of major gifts, including multi-year commitments from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
- Working closely with the Chief Operating and Financial Officers to develop and oversee the Foundation's fundraising budgets.
- Creating reports that track progress and strategically adapt plans as needed.
- Ensuring our donor management system is effective and utilized to support development goals.
- Establishing key processes for building strategic partnerships with donors and funders.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations, accountability standards, and ethical principles in fundraising.
- Overseeing the stewardship of endowments to maintain long-term relationships with donors.

Compensation : $200,000 - $265,000 (commensurate with experience and geographical area) plus a robust performance-based bonus.
Note : This is a remote position with required travel, and candidates must be located in a state where HumanGood operates.
