Under limited supervision, the RN Charge Nurse is responsible for the nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating our “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care;”
38-$45 (DOE)
Shift : Fulltime 6 : 30AM-2 : 30PM
To be successful in the role, you would have :
Current RN license
Current CPR certification
Prior nursing experience : senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care preferred
1yr Experience supervising RNs, LVNs, and CNAs
Work Duties :
Facilitates nursing care provided to all residents and includes residents in decision making processes;
In the supervisory role, the Nurse Supervisor takes responsibility to lead the CNA, LVN, and RN team and ensure that all procedures are followed during emergency situations.
Assures that nursing staff is carrying out their respective duties toward resident care, which includes monitoring call lights so that they are promptly answered; and other resident and family care needs are met appropriately and in a timely manner
Actively engages residents in participation in daily activities which are part of resident’s rhythm of daily life (including desired hygiene, grooming, and mobility);
Assesses resident’s needs at the time of admission and continually evaluates residents’ condition during the duration of their stay and promotes the highest functional level of independence possible (keeping in compliance with state and federal regulations, and the community’s safety procedures);
