HumanHire is partnering with a leading national insurance organization to find a motivated and detail-oriented Collections Clerk to join their expanding team in White Plains. - Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM or 9 AM–5 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of overdue accounts, ensuring timely customer contact to minimize outstanding balances and bad debt.
- Reach out to customers through phone, email, and written correspondence to remind them of unpaid balances and negotiate payment terms.
- Collaborate with customers to create flexible payment plans that align with both their needs and the organization's requirements.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding overdue accounts, explain terms and conditions, and resolve payment issues effectively and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications, agreements, and payment actions in the company's collections system.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable
- Prior experience in a professional services or financial services environment preferred
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
