HumanHire has partnered with a leading healthcare organization dedicated to providing outstanding patient care and support. We are seeking an Authorization Specialist to join their team. This role ensures smooth financial operations by handling insurance verification and authorization processes efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities :
Perform insurance verification, eligibility checks, and benefit analysis, documenting co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, and maximum benefit levels.
Apply and adhere to authorization rules and requirements for all payers within assigned work queues.
Communicate with surgical practices, clinics, and hospitals to gather required information for authorization completion.
Utilize integrated electronic eligibility systems, payer website portals, and phone calls to contact payers.
Prioritize and follow up on assigned tasks to ensure timely completion and minimize financial risks.
Manage schedules and handle both inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Familiarity with patient registration, insurance verification, and authorization processes.
Experience with EPIC is a plus!
