HumanHire has partnered with a fast growing manufacturing company looking for a Estimator located in Ronkonkoma, NY.
We are seeking candidates with 3 years of industry experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving and confirming specifications, plan press layouts, and working with production supervisors and management as needed.
Position : Estimator
Location : Ronkonkoma, NY
Pay : Up to $80,000 / yr
Benefits : Health, Dental, 401k
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Estimator Responsibilities
Verify specifications in "Requests for Quote" forms and pricing requests.
Plan press layouts, production methods, and coordinate with sales and customer service.
Source competitive vendor pricing and assist with technical project inquiries.
Use estimating tools to develop cost-effective and profitable estimates.
Collaborate with the Corporate Planning & Materials Manager on final pricing.
Maintain documentation and suggest process improvements for efficiency and quality
Estimator Qualifications
3 years of manufacturing experience
High School Diploma or GED
Strong math skills : fractions, percentages, reading a ruler and basic math
Familiar with printing / folding carton equipment
Salary : $80,000
