What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Data Entry Clerk position at HumanHire?
HumanHire has partnered with one of the country's largest food manufacturers and distributors that is looking to temporarily add a Data Entry Clerk to the team for the next 3 months in East Moriches.
The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for scanning and digitizing documents, ensuring that all files are properly organized, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

- Pay: $17.50/hr Overtime
- Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm)

Responsibilities:
- Scanning and Digitizing Documents: Accurately scan and digitize HR documents using specialized equipment and software.
- Document Organization and Filing: Create and maintain a well-organized filing system for both digital and physical documents to ensure easy retrieval.
- Quality Control: Perform thorough quality checks to ensure that scanned documents are legible, properly aligned, and correctly filed.
- Physical Document Management: Properly store original documents after scanning and physically retrieve or relocate documents as needed.
- Reporting and Compliance: Provide summary reports to management when required and ensure compliance with all applicable company procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of data entry, record auditing, or HRIS management experience
- Strong computer skills, including file management and organization
- Proficiency in handling digital files and organizing them effectively is essential for this role
