Job Description:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team on a part-time basis, with the potential for full-time employment. This role involves assembling components and sub-assemblies for high-quality lighting fixtures. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, has excellent hand dexterity, and is comfortable working with small tools and delicate parts. While experience is a plus, we are open to training the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling mechanical and electrical components into sub-assemblies and finished light fixtures.
- Following detailed instructions, diagrams, and processes to ensure accurate and consistent assembly.
- Inspecting and testing components for quality assurance and functionality.
- Organizing and maintaining tools, materials, and workstations for efficient workflow.
- Supporting production timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined with strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
- Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and adapt to new processes.
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable working with small tools and components.
Work Schedule:
Part-time, with flexible hours tailored to studio needs. Potential for a full-time role based on performance and studio requirements.
