Production Hand - Glass

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Production Hand to join our Glass Department at Humanhome! As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and fabrication of products, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process. This position requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively on an assembly line while utilizing various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day production schedules for all phases of fabrication: cutting, foiling, soldering, framing, and finishing
• Maintain and optimize material ordering and troubleshoot inventory tracking
• Collaborate with designers and production to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

• Experience in production lines for architectural glass fabrication or stained glass
• Proficient in traditional techniques including glass cutting, foiling, and soldering work
• Competence in using hand tools effectively for various tasks.
• Familiarity with CAD and Illustrator software for design interpretation, a plus
• Mechanical knowledge to understand complex assemblies and components, a plus
• Experience in standard machining practices, a plus.
• Kiln forming or fusing experience, a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
