Description
The Behavior Technician will report directly to the Manager of the Behavioral Stabilization Unit. The Behavioral Technician's primary responsibility is to work directly with clients in a clinical setting by engaging with them and documenting interactions, needs, and concerns, based on the behavior management plans in place.
SHIFT NEEDED : Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8 am -4 pm.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in psychology a plus.
- Valid Maryland driver's license required.
- Must be able to comfortably lift up to 20lb.
- Successfully complete the Relias Registered Behavior Technician Curriculum within the first 90-days.
- Ability to relate well to staff and board members of different races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, socioeconomic backgrounds, and religions.
