By connecting with leading platforms like MailChimp, QuickBooks Online, DonorSearch, and other best-in-class tools, Humanitru replaces legacy CRMs and eliminates data silos, giving nonprofits a unified view of their supporters and operations.
We are looking for a results-oriented Business Development Manager eager to make a lasting impact at a high-growth SaaS company. You’ll be joining our growing (remote) team as we continue to expand across the country. Compensation is 60% base salary (listed) and 40% commission with no caps.
In this role, you’ll focus on generating opportunities and building relationships with potential clients within your protected territory. As a self-starter, you’re passionate about connecting with prospects, identifying their needs, and introducing them to solutions that add value to their organization. You’ll work to schedule high-quality meetings which will be the first step in the sales cycle, paving the way for the Account Executive team to close new business.

Duties
- Develop a deep understanding of Humanitru’s SaaS technology and effectively communicate its value proposition.
- Drive lead generation and prospecting efforts to identify and engage potential customers.
- Conduct outreach to prospects through phone calls, emails, and other channels to schedule meetings with decision-makers.
- Collaborate with the Account Executive team to ensure a smooth handoff and provide key insights gathered during prospecting.
- Work with internal teams to identify trends, provide feedback, and improve processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and best practices to improve outreach effectiveness.
- Travel and represent Humanitru at industry conferences.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align strategies, share insights, and leverage campaigns to drive lead generation and nurture prospects effectively.
- 1 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, ideally in SaaS or technology.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to think strategically on your assigned accounts and execute a plan of attack.
