Success In This Role Looks Like:
- Managing the daily operations of the Virginia Career Works Comprehensive Center, ensuring seamless collaboration among workforce partners.
- Developing and implementing shared goals and performance metrics to improve services and outcomes for job seekers and employers.
- Expanding partnerships with local organizations to strengthen the workforce network and create new career pathways.
- Overseeing compliance with workforce regulations, ensuring all aspects of the center meet state and federal guidelines.
- Facilitating community outreach efforts to promote workforce programs and services.
- Leading and mentoring the WIOA Intake and Support Specialist to enhance service delivery.
- Coordinating job search resources, career workshops, and employer-driven training initiatives.
- Managing workforce system resources, ensuring cost-efficiency and innovation in service delivery.

- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Completion of all required background checks and drug testing.
