Searching for an experienced a Buyer / Planner for an estimated assignment.
Summary:
- Oversees purchasing and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies in an organization by performing the following duties, among other things, personally: quote requests, purchase req drafting/approval, purchase order creation, buying, shipping, receiving, coordinating with Receiving Inspection and Quality Control, managing inventory and stock room, interacting with vendors, engineers, and technicians.
- Responsible for coordinating work orders, kitting parts, updating, and working with paper records and MRP systems during all project phases from concept to production.
- Supports Engineering and Production teams with developing and sourcing material for new product development and commercialization of unmet or poorly met medical conditions.
Experience and Education:
- A minimum 5 years of purchasing experience is required (medical device industry, preferred).
- Proficient technical knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Sage 100 experience is a plus.
- Organized, detail-oriented, self-starter, and multi-tasker. Provides proactive customer service.
- Experience in new product development, contract manufacturing, and development (medical device industry, preferred)
Salary : $40 - $45
