Responsibilities and Requirements
As an IP paralegal, you will be responsible for assisting with drafting patent applications, responding to queries and tasks requested by outside patent law firm staff, sending responses to outside patent law firms, obtaining signed documents from inventors, and familiarizing yourself with patent applications and the filing process. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as experience with patent docketing using docketing software.
