**Job Summary**
Humano, a third-party warehouse provider, is seeking Warehouse Supervisors for their site in their Port Wentworth, GA. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and leading a team of warehouse personnel to ensure efficient and effective workflow. This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule available for 1st shift 6am-4pm or 2nd shift 6pm-4am.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to coordinate daily tasks and workflow
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Allocate resources effectively to meet productivity targets and customer demands
- Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Address any issues or concerns raised by team members and take appropriate actions
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders
- Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the warehouse industry minimum of 6 months
- Familiarity with overseeing employee production metrics and driving improvements
- Experience working in a third-party logistics (3PL) environment is a plus or 1 year experience working in a warehouse.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and willingness to enforce them
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks is desirable
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training are a plus
