Position Overview:
The award-winning international luxury pastry brand is now in the United States! The Pastry Line Cook is an essential role. This role reports directly to the Asst. Pastry Sous Chef. The Pastry Line Cook follows recipes and must feel comfortable working at a high pace while maintaining quality standards. This position is ideal for an experienced Pastry Line Cook eager to learn new techniques and experience working for a world-class French Pastry shop.
Responsibilities:
- Follow recipes to prepare detailed pastries and baked goods
- Plate desserts and baked goods
- Propose, create, and make adjustments to dessert menus
- Maintaining quality standards
- Applying knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Following hygiene standards
- Time management
- Organization of their station
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a direct Pastry Cook role
- Attention to detail
- Motivated and self-directed
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Flexible schedule (including some weekends & holidays)
