Responsibilities
- To demonstrate pride in working for LPM and a high level of commitment
- To greet guests on arrival
- To act according to the complaint handling standards and procedures
- To acknowledge returning/regular guests
- To take the orders and be fully conversant with the menu, offering suggestions where possible
- To represent and promote LPM company concept, image and philosophy with knowledge of the company's history
- To report for duty as per schedule, clean, tidy, and wearing correct uniform
- To guide and motivate the support servers to ensure an error-free service
- To attend departmental communication meetings and training sessions and to ensure operations are in line with the instructions received
- To be responsible for a clean and tidy working area
- To oversee the assigned support servers during service and offer assistance when necessary
- To up-sell any drinks, dishes, or specialties that the Chef or Bar manager wishes to promote
- To minimize operating costs by using all equipment and products in accordance with guidelines set and ensure all equipment is turned off at the end of each shift following closing procedures and checklists
- Closing: Ensure that the dining area is clean, orderly, and well maintained, side stations are well stocked, chairs, and tables are well stacked, and linen to sent to laundry
- To comply with company mandatory requirements for fire, health, and safety, licensing, and employment and to ensure that members of the team are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance with the requirements
- Become a professional valued member of the team with a flexible approach to improving customer service
