POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking for a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As the Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining kitchen efficiency, and supporting the Executive Chef. You will oversee kitchen staff, manage inventory, and uphold food safety standards, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen staff and activities.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet company standards.
- Develop and maintain inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, including food hygiene and sanitation.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Create schedules and manage labor costs efficiently.
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
- Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in inventory and cost management.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications (preferred but not required).
