This is a full-time, salary-based position calling for a motivated, autonomous individual dedicated to providing high-quality HR support across the business. Responsibilities include providing support with the ability to help lead an organization in its HR efforts in compliance and administration, with particular emphasis on benefits and on-boarding.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure clients are compliant with employment law, benefits and record keeping
- Maintaining employee records, including new hire set up, I9 validation, all employee changes while ensuring compliance with local, state and federal legislation
- Assistance in coordination of benefits enrollments for companies
- Practical knowledge of workers comp, FMLA, ADA
- Track training for all clients assigned
- Maintaining and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to company personnel
- Upholding and enforcing company policies
- Creating and revising job descriptions
- Performs benefits administration, including change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees
- Develops and maintains all governmental reporting, including EEO-1 report and Unemployment Insurance responsiveness
- Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
- Ensure healthy onboarding and performance management
- Overseeing and conducting exit interviews
- Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts
- Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures
- Creates and monitors performance evaluation program
- Participates in other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, customer service
- Competent user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, customer service
- Experience working in an HRIS system
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tough deadlines
- Strong level of confidentiality
- Organized and detail oriented
- Analysis and reporting skills a plus
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and follow through
Required Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or certified HR professional preferred
- Military experience a plus
- 3 years’ experience in Human Resources required
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
