We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their independence. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
- Perform catheter care and assist with other medical needs as directed.
- Observe patients for any changes in condition and report findings to healthcare professionals.
- Help clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair or assisting with walking.
- Launder clothing and bedding as needed to maintain a clean living environment.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of services provided.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care or as a Home Health Aide.
- Knowledge of medical documentation practices is beneficial.
- Familiarity with catheter care and vital signs monitoring is an asset.
- Strong observational skills to recognize changes in patient conditions.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while following established care plans.
- Understanding of dementia care principles is desirable.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
