Home Health Aide (HHA)

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their independence. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with seniors and individuals with varying health conditions.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
• Perform catheter care and assist with other medical needs as directed.
• Observe patients for any changes in condition and report findings to healthcare professionals.
• Help clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair or assisting with walking.
• Launder clothing and bedding as needed to maintain a clean living environment.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation of services provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in senior care or as a Home Health Aide.
• Knowledge of medical documentation practices is beneficial.
• Familiarity with catheter care and vital signs monitoring is an asset.
• Strong observational skills to recognize changes in patient conditions.
• Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while following established care plans.
• Understanding of dementia care principles is desirable.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
