Position Summary
Under the general direction of, and in cooperation with, the Court and Community School Principal, the Court and Community School Site Supervisor supports in the coordination and administration of the instructional programs' staff and students. The Site Supervisor is also responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination and implementations of grant-funded programs and interagency programs targeted for at-risk youth in Humboldt County. The Site Supervisor supports the provision of curriculum and instructional leadership and has a supportive role in working with various educational partners, school district administrators, College of the Redwoods and other community-based agency personnel.

This position is under the supervision of the Court & Community Schools Principal.
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates the development, implementation and reporting of data required by all school plans, such as SARC, LCAP and SPSA, in both written and web-based formats.
- Coordinates the implementation of assigned grants.
- Serves as the 504 and ELPAC coordinator.
- Coordinates the program, school site attendance and discipline.
- Coordinates site PBIS / incentive program.
- Assists the Principal in the supervision and evaluations of classified and certificated personnel within the program.
- Coordinates the Community School Truancy Intervention program for all community school sites.
- Assists the Principal in the implementation of the instructional program components with input from staff, local advisory communities and other agency / educational personnel when appropriate, including probation, mental health, social services and College of the Redwoods.
- Participates with the planning and implementation of the county's components of the Joint Education Service Plan, which serves expelled students in Humboldt County.
- Coordinates the Parent / Family Engagement activities on site.
- Handles disciplinary issues; utilizes Restorative Practices and interventions.
- Supervises grounds and assesses facilities maintenance.
- Participates with the planning and implementation of professional development opportunities which are aligned with overall program needs / goals for the staff.
- Actively engages in an on-going program of professional development to maintain and improve management and leadership skills.
- Serves as a member of Leadership Council.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions
This position will be assigned to an educational setting. The employee will be expected to work closely with other County offices, district personnel, students, families, outside agencies and private partners. Assigned school site settings where multiple students and school staff are present. Employees may be required to walk, stand or conduct work in outdoor educational environments, where there may be loud students or staff, varied temperatures, public interaction and / or upset staff or students. May be required to work evenings and weekends.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear. The employee will need to frequently perform repetitive hand / finger movements for activities such as, but not limited to, using a keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to climb stairs, bend, reach with hands / arms, lift, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee will regularly be required to drive long distances to remote areas of the county and may be required to lift and move equipment up to 25 lbs.
