Role Description
The Benefits Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with administering employee benefits, including but not limited to: Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), COBRA, 403b, Workers Compensation and insurance. This is a full-time on-site role located in Chicago, IL.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Benefits administration
- Expert knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and COBRA
- Strong understanding of employee benefits and insurance
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of Workers Compensation
- Previous experience administering 403b
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required
- Experience working in a healthcare setting or nonprofit organization is a plus
