What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transporter -FT Rotating. position at Humboldt Park Health?
- Responsible for providing and maintaining a safe environment for themselves, the patient, and their co-workers by following established policies and procedures.
- Assists the patient/guest with service issues/problems by providing excellent customer service through established guest service techniques. Serves as a resource to patients, family members, and other hospital personnel. Maintains courtesy and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently for the benefit and comfort of the patient.
- Assignments are documented with all the necessary information as accurately as possible. Documentation is compiled and necessary for future departmental reference, problem/conflict resolution, and necessary for process improvement methods.
- Communicates patient concerns/needs with clinical staff
- Assists in the moving of beds, chairs and hospital equipment along with identifying broken equipment to remove from circulation.
- Tracks and maintains transport log
- Assists in the transportation of specimens, documents and lab deliveries. \
Requirements:
CPR certification required.
Salary : $15 - $19
