What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at Humboldt Physical Therapy?
Company Description
Humboldt Physical Therapy is an outpatient clinic dedicated to providing the best care for patients who need highly specialized, skilled therapists who are passionate about what they do. We tend to specialize in complex, complicated patients that need treatment approaches that go above and beyond traditional PT. We are a team of highly skilled manual therapists and movement specialists that look for the root causes of pain and dysfunction rather than just chasing after symptoms. We love to help patients learn how to take charge of their bodies and return to doing the things they love. We have a reputation in our community as being highly sought after by patients and medical providers who regularly refer to us patients who have not done well with traditional approaches to treatment. We are highly innovative and are always learning as we go along and love to share our skills with those who join our team. We have a special interest with the EDS patient population and SI joint patients and Movement System Impairment.
We are in Arcata in Humboldt County of Northern California where the Redwood forests meet the ocean. Spectacular nature and scenery surround us, and we have a vibrant community of people who love being here. We have an amazing abundance of fresh produce grown locally with a huge Farmers Market, a thriving music and arts scene, tons of outdoor activities, host a yearly Kinetic Sculpture Race that is so much fun!!!! and Cal Poly Humboldt University in our midst.
