Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with various disabilities and a passion for supporting their educational development.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cultivating their own sense of wonder through self-initiated and Academy-directed learning.
- Supporting the implementation of Individual Education Plan(s) (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal requirements.
- Modeling virtuous habits among the students through interactions and personal example.
- Consultation and collaboration with Special Education and Regular Education Teachers as well as related service staff.
- Assisting students in achieving academic success.
- Working with students who may be aggressive or disruptive in class.
- Behaviour support which includes physical management (training provided upon hire).
- All other duties, as may be assigned per the Employee Handbook.
- The salary for this position will be in accordance with the standard hourly rate for paraprofessionals and according to experience.
