As the Activities Specialist at Hume Christian Camps, you will actively engage campers and guests to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the organization of group activities, games, sports, and special events. Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing these activities. Your role is to create a positive, welcoming environment that reflects the love of Jesus, fostering both spiritual growth and memorable camp experiences.

The Role :
Responsible for organizing and leading games.
Maintain recreational equipment.
Ensure a safe environment for all participants.
Serve as a positive role model for campers, displaying sportsmanship and enthusiasm.

Experience in leading large group games and recreational activities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to live on-site.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a heart for serving campers from diverse backgrounds.
Physical Requirements : Bending, lifting, sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, running, and possibly swimming. Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and normal range of eyesight and hearing required to communicate with staff and manipulate camp equipment. Must operate with daily exposure to the cold, heat, rain, sun, and varying other weather conditions, as well as under irregular working hours in a camp environment. Able to lift 25-50 pounds.
