Type of Role : Seasonal, Part-Time. Only needed March - August. Up to 40 hours / week. Vision for the Role : We are looking for a motivated and organized part-time Human Resources (HR) Admin to support in onboarding and offboarding functions and ensuring a positive experience for all camp staff. This role will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition for new hires into the organization as well as managing the exit procedures for departing employees. The Role : HR Operations : Support the HRIS processes with speed and accuracy in partnership with the HR Coordinator & HR Generalist. Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including data entry, file maintenance, and reporting. Recruitment & Onboarding : Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing documentation and conducting orientation sessions. May support the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates. Offboarding : Assist with employee exit processes, such as conducting exit interviews and ensuring proper documentation is completed. Our Ideal Candidate : Evidenced commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel with others. Must agree with Hume Lake’s Statement of Belief and be willing to abide by Hume Lake’s Code of Conduct. Proven experience in administrative roles, with some experience in HR preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Basic understanding of labor laws and HR practices is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with a diverse team. Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive situations, and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Desires to conduct all HR activities with a Biblical perspective. Familiar with a remote work environment Physical Requirements : Bending, lifting, sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking. Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and normal range of eyesight and hearing required to communicate with staff and manipulate camp equipment. Must operate with daily exposure to the cold, heat, rain, sun, and varying other weather conditions, as well as under irregular working hours in a camp environment. Able to lift 25-50 pounds.
